“This is a wonderful, very well illustrated, and well presented book about a young girl who doesn’t think that anything she has is as good a treasure as anyone else in her class. Watching all of her classmates take all of their show and tell objects and “treasures” to class causes her so much anxiety, that she is afraid that she will not do well in front of her classmates. But in the end, when it comes her turn, her treasure has been in front of her all along. She learns that her greatest treasure has been something that has been passed down in her family, and it is something that she can share not only with her classmates now, but something that she’ll be able to share all her life. This is a very well thought out book and one that young children can learn a very good lesson from. It also gives a great recipe at the end for the tortillas and the activity page for the kids. I can’t wait for the next book to come out! Great job!”
